Impact
Daisy has changed the world by leading people to Jesus without even trying.
Service
Daisy is patient and attentive in the way she cares for children with special needs. She feels a genuine care for the kids she takes care of. She starts to feel guilty if theyre hurt in any way and she wants them to learn skills to strengthen their ability to live in the future.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:40 (NIV)
Even though Daisy may not feel like her job is gratifying sometimes and that she goes unappreciated for the hard work she does for those kids, she directly follows the teachings of Jesus by caring for them. She looks after the sick and unfortunate and she empathizes with kids who are hard to empathize with. Jesus told us to take care of the less fortunate and the disabled for they are our brothers and sisters in Christ as well.
Faith
She brings light through her faith and encourages others to take the teachings of Jesus seriously. Her example has impacted people deeply enough to move them toward genuine belief in Christ. Christ resides strongly within her, even when she doubts it because of her mistakes. Daisy doesn't realize that she holds herself to a higher standard than most women her age and she is truly not of this world. She doesn't let worldly possessions control her and she prioritizes the correct things in life such as quality time and real love.
Emily's Words
Daisy, you’re such a tough, hard headed person. Felipe jr for sure. Despite that I do know you have a kind heart. You work so hard and seeing you achieve all your goals is such a blessing. You have become such a wonderful, beautiful young lady. Anyways, I’m not the best with my words; but just know I’ll always be here cheering you on, praying for you, and believing in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. If life ever throws you a curve ball I’m always here for you to fall back on don’t ever be scared to ask for help. Lastly even tho I might not say it a lot (or at all really) I love you now and forever. I pray God blesses you and protects always!
Isabel's Words
Daisy, you are my little sister, and although we tend to butt heads a lot, growing up with you has been a pleasure and joy. As your big sister I only have ever wanted the best for you, I know you can achieve any goal you put your mind too as long as you keep God in the center, and then yourself. I wish you could see yourself in the eyes of our savior and the eyes of those around you, because no matter the mistakes you make I know deep down inside that hard, tough exterior of yours, there’s a good girl who just wants to make good decisions and be loved for who she is. I hope you you never forget you were called to serve a God that is merciful, forgiving and full of Love for you. Despite your wrong doings God can make the ugly beautiful. My only wish for you this coming year is for you to love yourself as much as you love those around you, to stop searching for love in humans and find it in God and yourself. Put God first and he will set your paths straight. I hope you know you Can confide in me and come to me with your worries and troubles too, I hope I can give you good advice and be here for you as much as possible.
